Cuyahoga Valley Adventures: 6-Mile Paddle Trip
Discover the beauty of the Cuyahoga River on this 6-mile paddling adventure! Perfect for paddlers with experience, this 3 hour paddle launches from the Valley View River Access and takes you north along the scenic Cuyahoga River, just inside the boundaries of the stunning Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Along the way, you'll encounter natural woody debris, small rapid areas, and a mix of shallow and deep sections, adding an exciting variety to your paddling experience. Soak in the natural beauty of the park, spot local wildlife, and enjoy the peaceful flow of the river before reaching North Hampton Point, your take-out location.
Our hourly shuttle service ensures a quick and easy return to Cuyahoga Valley Adventures, making this a hassle-free adventure for everyone!
Paddling experience is necessary. - This section of the Cuyahoga River requires attentive paddling you will encounter natural woody debris that needs to be navigated along with small rapid areas around many of the bends of the river! - Self rescue experience is recommended.
What's included
We provide the kayak/raft, life jacket, paddle and a ride back to our location where your car will be parked!
What to bring
- Be prepared to get wet! Water shoes or old tennis shoes are HIGHLY recommended. Flip-flops are NOT recommended!
- A towel and change of clothes left in your car is recommended!
- A reusable water bottle is recommended.
- Ensure to plan for being in the sun. Sunscreen and hats are recommended.
- Bug spray is recommended to have on hand.

Cancellation Policy
nReservations Without Trip Protection:

- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund to the original payment method.n
- Cancellations made within 24 hours but at least 3 hours before departure will receive a gift card for the full amount (no expiration date).
n-No-shows or cancellations less than 3 hours before departure will not receive a refund or gift card.n
Reservations with Trip Protection:

- Cancel or reschedule for any reason up to 3 hours before departure and receive a full refund (minus the cost of Trip Protection and processing fees).n
- No additional fees for rescheduling.n
- No refunds or rescheduling for no-shows.n
