• 75+ Feet Rappelling Fern Island, an awesome and beautiful cliff face. The trail to this amazing rappel takes you up a hill, through an ancient stone canyon, scrambling up a few large boulders to this lofty decent. The views up here and the skybridge to Fern Island are breathtaking.

• High Rock Adventures is the first and only on-site Ohio and Hocking Hills rappelling tour company. Our Rappelling Adventure includes 3 different rappels a 40 foot flat wall, Ohio's only canyon rappel at 60 feet, and Fern Island 75+ a breathtaking and unique decent over a breathtaking cliff. We operate on pristine private property showcasing our amazing cliffs and rock features.** We’re also the only company in the region using state-of-the-art Petzl stainless steel anchoring systems. No trees are damaged and you can rappel in confidence knowing our steel anchors could hold the weight of a large van going over the cliff.

• ** Rappelling is less physically demanding than rock climbing but doesn’t sacrifice any excitement.

• We provide all the gear and instruction, no experience necessary.

What's Included

• Rappels: Includes 3 unique rappels of 35 to 75+ feet.
• All Equipment Required: harness, helmet and rappelling devices (top-anchored ropes and beautiful scenery also provided)
• Instruction: from two expert Guides: one top side and one below. No experience necessary, we will walk you through the activity and offer tips throughout to make your adventure the best it can be! (Age, weight, and mobility restrictions apply, see tour qualifications below.)

Please note

• This tour requires a minimum of 2 people to run. If you are a single traveler you may reserve a space and it will be confirmed when others have joined the tour.
• If we cancel a tour due to weather, you always have the option of a refund.
• For Rappelling Tours within 24 hours, give us a call we can often fit you in even the same day, but highly recommend advance reservations to ensure space is available when you want it!
• Harnesses go from under 18" up to 46" and you must safely fit into the harness to participate.
