Whether you're a local who calls it OTR or a first-time visitor still trying to figure out what Over-the-Rhine is all about, this tour is sure to open your eyes. Teeming with German immigrants in the 19th century, the neighborhood took a turn for the worst after Prohibition and struggled through the late 1990's. Purposefully redesigned beginning in the early 2000's, OTR is now at the confluence of amazing architecture, trendy restaurants, a vibrant art scene, and locally-owned small businesses.
What to bring
Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Tour operates rain or shine. Bring an umbrella if skies look threatening.
