For a special gift this Grandparents' Day, bring Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop on an authentic 1930s train ride on South Woodstown’s first railroad line, dating back to 1863. The 18-mile round-trip excursion takes you from South Woodstown to Mannington and back. Take in the scenic forests and rural farmland from your beautifully restored Open Air Gondola originally built in 1934.

What to bring

  • The Open Air Gondola is open to the elements. It has no roof, windows or doors. In the event of inclement weather those passengers riding the Open Air Gondola will be moved to one of our Coaches if seating is available. Open Air Gondola passengers are encouraged to bring an umbrella if a threat on inclement weather exists.
