Join in the Halloween fun at the Whippany Railway Museum onboard the “Pumpkin Patch Train” ! The 10-mile, 45-minute round trip is the perfect way to spend a Fall afternoon with the family. After each ride, children with valid train tickets can go to the Pumpkin Patch and pick out a free kid-sized pumpkin and receive a pumpkin decorating kit while supplies last. Children of all ages are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes, helping to make the train a spooky sight!
Trips are at 1, 2, 3, and 4 PM on October 4th, 10th and 11th.
What's included
Admission to the Museum building, housed in the historic red and green 1904 freight house, is included with your ticket. The building has displays of railroad artifacts and memorabilia, a large, operating O-gauge model train layout and a gift shop. It will be open from 12 noon to 4 pm. If you are holding tickets for the 3 pm and 4 pm trains you should plan on visiting the building prior to your trip, as the Museum will not be open when your train returns to Whippany.
Cancellation
The purchaser understands and accepts that tickets are non-refundable. The purchaser understands that this event will occur regardless of weather conditions, that the train will run rain, snow or shine and accepts that he/she/they will not be refunded if he/she/they cannot make it to the event for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to: travel conditions, illness, scheduling conflicts, loss, and other unforeseen circumstances impacting the purchaser's ability to attend.
nThe purchaser understands that the seating selected is specific to location, date and time. The purchaser verifies that all selections are correct and agrees to this non-refundable purchase. The purchaser understands that all selections are final and cannot be altered or exchanged. The purchaser understands that the operator reserves the right to change the selected seating on the day of the event, if necessary, due to the substitution of equipment.
nThis event is held on the grounds of an operating railroad and on an operating train and as such all visitors and guests are required to adhere to all current Federal Railroad Administration policies. By purchasing tickets to this event, you are agreeing to follow all posted and verbal instructions while attending our event.
