About
This 1-1:15 hour parent/child kayak experience takes place in a protected embayment on the Hoboken side of the Hudson River with stunning views of Manhattan as the backdrop. It is perfect for young children, ages one to six. Take your little one paddling with you and discover the beauty of the Hudson River together! After paddling you and your child have the option to stay with us on the beach to learn more about the estuary and look for some river creatures with our nets.
Highlights
This is such a fun way to spend time with your child and gently introduce them to kayaking and the Hudson River Estuary. The course follows the American Canoe Association curriculum and industry standards for risk management. The “challenge by choice” model will be used to ensure comfort while allowing each person to participate at his or her own level and develop skills at his or her own speed. No prior experience is necessary to join in on the fun of kayaking!
