About
During this 8 hour virtual or in-person classroom based course you'll learn what's involved and how a mountain rescue incident is facilitated. From inter-agency response to complex system demonstrations, this course covers all of the hows and whys to a mountain rescue incident.
Prerequisites for these courses are: 18 years of age or older CPR FEMA IS-100.c FEMA IS-NIMS 700.b SAR Helicopter Ops for Responders
Cost Per Person: $99 Location: Monmouth County NJ - Call our office for other available locations or to host this course at your location. Terrain restrictions apply when hosting a course at your location.
Cancellation
Cancellation/reschedule: Cancellation MUST be done 14 days in advance for a refund. No refunds are issued for private courses, but will be held for credit or rescheduling. A $20 admin fee will apply to reschedule. Do NOT assume a trip/course is cancelled unless you hear from our office or your guide.
nRefunds are NOT issued for
n- no-shows
n- clients showing up late and not able to participate
n- clients showing up and choosing to not participate
n- not showing up due to various issues like directions, vehicle/transportation issues, etc. If you have vehicle or direction troubles you can call the office to reschedule
n- weather cancellations
We, Northeast Mountain Guiding, are NOT responsible for car rental fees, hotels fees, and/or any associated travel fees due to a cancellation. We recommend getting trip insurance when booking those accommodations in the event a cancellation for inclement weather comes up.
