Wilderness EMT Upgrade

About
The Wilderness EMT upgrade is a 40 hour/5 day course (not overnights) designed for current and/or aspiring backcountry or urban medical professionals looking for wilderness medicine training and much more! This course will prepare you to access, assess, stabilize, package and extract patients/subjects in a remote environment on any terrain. 16 hours of the course is virtual and 24 hours of the course are in-person.
This course consists of a mixture of classroom and field work. Detailed information on the course structure will be in your confirmation email.
Course location: Byram Township NJ Course cost: $550.00 per person Prerequisites: Must be 18 years of age or older, be a current or former EMT (within the past 6 years) and hold a current CPR certification
Cancellation
Cancellation/reschedule: NO REFUNDS ON THIS COURSE, NO EXCEPTIONS.
nCancellation MUST be done 14 days in advance for a reschedule opportunity. A $20 admin fee will apply to reschedule. No show voids voucher/payment. Weather will be checked 10-12 hours pre-course. If there is an 80% chance of rain or high daily temps below 35 degrees, the outdoor scenarios will be moved indoors. In the event of a weather cancellation, our office or your instructor will contact you. Do NOT assume a trip/course is cancelled unless you hear from our office or your instructor.
nRefunds are NOT issued for:
n- no-shows
n- clients showing up late and not able to participate
n- clients showing up and choosing to not participate
n- not showing up due to various issues like directions, etc.
