Swiftwater Rescue Technician (Level III)

About
During this 2 day/16 hour course you'll learn all of the essential skills needed to perform a rescue of a single or multiple subjects in a swiftwater (moving water) environment. Swiftwater is generally classified as performing rescues in a whitewater river setting but these skills cover other types of situations like high volume Class II rivers, flood waters, etc.

We offer this course Nationally and can run it in your AOR or AOO. Call for assistance.
Cost Per Person: $350 Course Length: 2 days/16 hours What's Included: All group gear is provided, PFD, helmet, safety gear. 3 year certification. Prerequisites: Must be 18 years of age or older, be in good physical shape, able to tread water for 1 minute.
Cancellation
Cancellation/reschedule: Cancellation MUST be done 7 days in advance for a refund. No refunds are issued for private group trips but will be held for credit or rescheduling. A $20 admin fee will apply to reschedule. Weather will be checked 10-12 hours pretrip, if 80% chance of rain or high daily temps below 40 degrees the trip will be rescheduled. In the event of a weather cancellation our office or your guide will contact you. Do NOT assume a trip/course is cancelled unless you hear from our office or your guide.

n- no-shows
n- clients showing up late and not able to participate
n- clients showing up and choosing to not participate
n- not showing up due to various issues like directions, vehicle/transportation issues, etc. If you have vehicle or direction troubles you can call the office to reschedule
n- weather cancellations
We, The National Rescue & Response Institute, are NOT responsible for car rental fees, hotels fees, and/or any associated travel fees due to a cancellation. We recommend getting trip insurance when booking those accommodations in the event a cancellation for inclement weather comes up.
