Stand up paddleboarding is quickly gaining popularity all over the world because of its graceful simplicity, quick learning curve, and versatility.
This easy-to-learn and non-intimidating activity is perfect for most ages and abilities. You will progress quickly and develop the skills necessary to improve your fitness while enjoying the beauty and wildlife of the Jersey Shore. Our protected location is full of beautiful plants and wildlife such as Great Blue Herons, Osprey, Kingfishers, Turtles, Fish, Fox, Deer, and more. Your lesson will include equipment familiarization; dry land and water instruction; location assessment; water safety and self-rescue; proper body positioning and balancing; endurance and paddling techniques and more.
No previous paddleboarding experience is necessary. Participants MUST be comfortable in the water and be able to swim.
Available MOST weekends. Ages 12 and up.
$75 per paddler. All rental equipment provided: stand up paddleboard, leash, paddle, and life vest.
