Coastline Adventures Surfing School’s 21st Annual International Surfing Day

When:  Saturday, June 21, 2025 Time:  7:30 am - 9:30 am (we start promptly at 7:30 am) Where:  Brick Beach 3 Who: Surfers and Non-Surfing Beach Lovers Ages:  10 and up Price*:  Free. Donations to Surfrider Foundation are greatly appreciated.

*Parking Fees and Beach Badges are NOT included ($10 per car and $10 per person for badges - children under 12 and seniors are free).

International Surfing Day, held annually on or near the date of the summer solstice, is an unofficial, environmentally conscious sports-centered holiday that celebrates the sport of surfing and the surfing lifestyle and the sustainability of ocean resources. We invite all beachgoers and surf enthusiasts (beginner to advanced) to join us for a wonderful and meaningful day at the beach. Together, we’ll celebrate our 21st anniversary of this annual surfers’ holiday by raising awareness and sharing education about the issues that affect our oceans while showing appreciation for our coastal environments and surfing.

Schedule of Events:

7:30 am - 8:00 am:  Registration, Check-in, and Equipment Assignment. Pre-online registration is recommended as space is limited and spots fill quickly.

Surfing participants must know how to swim.

8:00 am - 9:30 am:  Ocean Safety and Orientation, Surfrider Foundation Discussion, and Introductory Group Surf Lesson. Equipment use included.

Important Event Notes:

• Requirement:  Surfing participants MUST know how to swim. Surfing is a physical sport and if you have any concerns about the participant's swimming and/or fitness level, please contact us.
• Non-surfers are welcome to join our Ocean Safety and Beach Orientation and participate in the Surfrider Foundation Environmental Discussion.
• If the weather is good but the ocean conditions are unfavorable or dangerous, we will still offer our scheduled activities except the water portion of the surf lesson (land activities only). In the event of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled with no rain date.
