Balloon Rides at the Fair are in the evenings around 6:30 pm. Balloon Rides are available outside the festivals, year round, at sunrise and about two hours before sunset. Call for details on rides at other times.

  • Single Rider (All Ages Welcome, not a private ride): $350
  • Private Ride for 2 (All Ages Welcome): $825
  • Private Ride for 3 (All Ages Welcome): $1,250

About the Rides

  • A full flight hot air balloon rides are generally between 40-50 minutes, as weather allows. You will float along with the wind over the beautiful Warren County countryside.
  • Balloon ride tickets DO NOT include admission -- please purchase your General Admission ticket separately, online at warrencountyfarmersfair.org or at the gate!
  • We offer options for single non exclusive riders and groups up to 5 passengers, as well as private experience for 2 or 3!

Balloon Passenger Schedule

Full Flight Balloon Flights are at 6:30 pm, with check in time of 5:00-5:45 pm.

Other Options for Balloon Rides

There will be tethered (short up and down) balloon rides offered, weather permitting, for $30 per adult and $20 for ages 4 to 12. Ages 3 and under free with paying adult. Take a short up and down in a hot air balloon. Appropriate for most ages. Proceeds benefit the Fred T. Grotenhuis Veterans Community Center project.

Tethered rides tentatively will begin at around 5:00-5:30 pm, weather depending, and are first come-first served. We cannot take reservations for tethered rides. We will sell tickets starting 1 hour prior to anticipated start time.

Cancellation

If you do not show up for your time/day of your balloon ride we will process your card. It's a spot that would have otherwise been taken by someone else.

If your flight gets cancelled due to weather we will rebook you if you would like, and if we have space available on another time slot. We will reissue you a ticket for admission on the new date and time you wish to fly.

However, there is no obligation to reschedule on your part. In that case you will receive a full refund for the balloon ride.
