Dinner and a overnight ghost hunt at the Cashtown Inn
About
Investigate with NJPi overnight at the historic Cashtown Inn in Gettysburg, PA. This event will be July 26th starting at 6PM - 10am the following morning. Built in 1797, the Inn was used as Generals quarters for the Confederate officers. Its basement was utilized to become a make-shift field hospital. Many wounded soldiers would enter to seek medical treatment, with some never returning to battle. It is from the many amputations performed here that the Cashtown Inn gets its haunted lore. Severed limbs were said to be so abundant that they piled high enough to cover the basement’s windows, blocking even sunlight from entering. Guests who have stayed at the inn often complain of loud banging on their doors at night, lights turning on and off without explanation, loud footsteps and even doors locking on their own. What will you find? You are allowed to bring your own equipment or we will have select pieces for you to use as well.
