What to Bring on Your 8-Hour Whale Watching Trip
- Dress in Layers – Weather conditions can change quickly on the ocean, so bring a light jacket and wear comfortable, layered clothing to stay warm or cool as needed.
- Food & Drinks – While snacks and drinks are available for purchase on board, you're welcome to bring your own food and beverages for the trip.
- Camera & Binoculars – This is an excellent trip for photographers, so bring your camera equipment to capture amazing shots. Binoculars are also recommended for spotting distant marine life.
- Sun Protection – A hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses are essential, as the sunlight reflects off the ocean, making it much brighter than on land.
- A Sense of Adventure! – Expect an exciting day of exploration, discovering whales, seabirds, and marine wildlife in their natural habitat.
- Cell Service & Connectivity – You’ll have cell service for about the first 8 miles offshore, then enjoy a few hours of peace and quiet with no interruptions. (Don’t worry, we have emergency satellite phones on board if needed!)
- Safety First – Jersey Girl is equipped with state-of-the-art first aid equipment, including an AED, ensuring a safe experience for all passengers.
