I fish in Sea Isle City, New Jersey from March through December. Late November and December is the time of year when we catch large migratory stripers in the ocean. Depending on the weather, this fishing extends into January some years. Typical fish run 10-30 pounds with larger fish in excess of 50 pounds always a possibility. These trips are typically 6-8 hours in length. We typically jig and or troll for these fish depending how they are setting up. Fly fishing for these large stripers is also a possibility.
What's included
I supply all the bait and equipment. You do not need to bring any fishing equipment unless you chose to do so. If it is not the right tool for the job, I'll have the right thing. Feel free to bring food and drinks, but please NO ALCOHOL. And yes, beer is alcohol. Boat coolers are provided. Small coolers are fine, but please no large coolers. Sunscreen is strongly recommended even on cloudy days.
