This immersive garden-to-table culinary experience brings nutrition to life as children grow, harvest, and step confidently into the role of chef — transforming fresh, seasonal ingredients into delicious creations.
This spring, our classroom moves outdoors, turning our spacious patio into a vibrant open-air kitchen while we dedicate meaningful time to planting and tending our organic garden.
This dynamic, hands-on program offers a truly one-of-a-kind culinary and nutrition experience where children cook recipes from start to finish — learning knife skills, kitchen safety, recipe reading, teamwork, flavor development, and creative food presentation. As they harvest what they’ve grown and prepare it themselves, they gain real-world culinary skills, independence, and pride in their accomplishments.
Grounded in scientific evidence on nutrition, physical activity, and self-esteem development, this authentic organic garden adventure equips children (and parents) with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to live a healthy lifestyle.
Classes are limited to 10 participants.

A deposit is taken to secure Seasonal Classes, Holiday Camps and Summer Seedlings. The remaining balance will be processed within 3 business days.

A full payment is taken for Adult Programs and Virtual Cooking Classes.

All sales are FINAL and NO REFUNDS will be given for weather delays or other reasons. Instead, a credit (in the form of a gift card) will be issued that can be used towards any HealthBarn program (Birthdays not included) with 24-hour cancellation notice prior to the start of the event.
