Highlights
We are a hands-on camp that is action-packed!
From 9 - 12:30 pm, your camper will be engaged in our core curriculum that includes organic gardening, preparing and eating breakfast and lunch and learning why this lifestyle is best for their bodies and minds!
From 12:30 - 3:00 pm, your camper will be on nature hikes busy catching and releasing frogs, turtles and more; doing tree, warrior and other fun yoga poses and being creative during arts and crafts. And, of course, preparing and eating a healthy snack!
What's included
For over 20 years, HealthBarn USA has offered a one-of-a-kind summer camp experience designed to nurture strong bodies, healthy minds, and confident kids. Rooted in a hands-on, garden-to-table philosophy, HealthBarn’s program blends organic gardening, cooking from scratch, nutrition education, and outdoor adventure in a joyful, supportive environment.
Children spend their days harvesting fruits and vegetables from the garden, preparing real, nourishing food in the kitchen, and learning how natural foods fuel their growing bodies. Beyond cooking and gardening, campers explore the outdoors through nature hikes, creative play, and age-appropriate yoga, while also engaging in meaningful science-based activities such as raising monarch butterflies. These experiences help children build a deep connection to nature and an understanding of where their food comes from.
HealthBarn is proudly screen-free, allowing children to fully engage with their surroundings, develop social skills, and build independence. Campers gain confidence as they try new foods, master new skills, and work together as a team. Along the way, they form friendships, create lasting memories, and develop healthy habits that extend far beyond the summer months.
At HealthBarn, learning feels like fun—and wellness becomes a way of life.
Space is limited to 50 campers each week who are adventurous eaters, love to cook and get dirty in the organic garden, picky eaters who want to expand their palette and kids who love exploring nature.
The camp is offered from June 15 until August 28, this one-of-kind garden-to-table experience runs daily from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (early drop-off at 8:00 am or after camp enrichment until 6:00 pm, please inquire).
Each week offers campers a new wholesome experience to learn firsthand where their food comes from and why eating fresh is best for their bodies and the environment, too.
We offer “themed” weeks, in addition to our award winning, nationally recognized food and nutrition curricula. Your camper(s) will learn how to grow organic, home-grown food from soil to harvest and why it's best for his body and the planet. The campers work in teams to put their knowledge into practice!
Tuition is not refundable. In the event a camp enrollment is cancelled prior to the start of camp (with at least 24 hours cancellation notice), a credit will be issued that can be used towards any future HealthBarn programs.
Our health and safety procedures and protocols are approved by NJ State and Ridgewood Health Departments. And, we are a licensed camp with the State of New Jersey.

All sales are FINAL and NO REFUNDS will be given for weather delays or other reasons. Instead, a credit (in the form of a gift card) will be issued that can be used towards any HealthBarn program (Birthdays not included) with 24-hour cancellation notice prior to the start of the event.
