On July 4, 2026, America will mark its 250th anniversary with a spectacular maritime celebration in New York Harbor. The world’s most magnificent tall ships and gray hull vessels will gather in the largest fleet of its kind, sail past in a Presidential review, and pay tribute to the Statue of Liberty.
Continuing the proud legacy of the 1976 Bicentennial, the Statue of Liberty Centennial in 1986, the Columbus Quincentennial in 1992, the Millennium celebration in 2000, and the Bicentennial of The Star-Spangled Banner in 2012, international fleets will arrive with grandeur and remain for a week in the heart of the nation’s first capital.
Sailors from around the globe will unite in a shared celebration of freedom, hope, and opportunity — ideals that have long defined the American spirit.
