About

"The best... the best... the best..."

This is what NJ food critics keep saying about the delicious and dynamic food scene in Denville, NJ -- this little town offers some of the best eats in the state!

Denville is unassuming at first glance, with a quaint and walkable downtown that harkens back to the 1950's. But the food scene is anything but quaint. Critics at NJ.com absolutely love this town, and so do we, for good reason!

Join us for our 3-hour, guided Food Tour of Denville and discover what makes this a regional foodie destination.

A portion of proceeds from this tour will go to support our amazing co-hosts, the Denville Historical Society, who will lend their expertise and fascinating stories to this fun and fulfilling experience -- the hottest local event of the summer!

Highlights

We are so honored to co-host this tour with a preeminant local historian, Vito Bianco, who literally wrote the book on the Town of Denville -- you can find his authoritative history guide at the library!

Bianco's expert historical insights will make this a tour to remember. A portion of proceeds will benefit the nonprofit, volunteer-run Denville Historical Society!

Some of the most respected food critics in the state at NJ.com -- formerly the home of the legendary Star Ledger newspaper -- have consistently ranked Denville restaurants among the very best in the Garden State. Yes, even #1 in the state, multiple years running. Which restaurants, you ask? Wink! You'll have to join us to find out!

Native Americans used what is now known as the Minisink Trail for hundreds of years in pre-colonial times, and one of the first European explorers in the area (and probable namesake of the town), Daniel Denton, likely used the trail to explore what later became known as Denville.
