Private Tours

There is an option to embark on our Totem & Tides Experience! A cultural and nature tour at Totem Bight State Historical Park and Refuge Cove State Recreation Site, located just outside of Ketchikan. This tour option, begins with roundtrip transportation from the Ketchikan cruise terminal to Totem Bight, where guests explore the park’s famous totem poles and the traditional Tlingit clan house. Afterward, guests are taken to Refuge Cove, a serene coastal area, where they embark on a short walk through the forest and along the beach. During this segment, guests may observe wildlife such as bald eagles, seals, sea lions, and seasonal migratory birds. The tour concludes with the return drive to the cruise terminal. All guides are trained in wilderness first aid, bear safety, and responsible wildlife viewing practices. Restroom facilities are available at both sites, and all activities are conducted on established trails to ensure guest safety and minimize environmental impact.
