Discover the wild heart of Alaska on a scenic, family-friendly UTV adventure through the Chena River Valley—just 40 minutes from Fairbanks. This privately guided, two-hour tour takes you deep into the Tanana Valley State Forest, where you'll explore black spruce woods, tranquil ponds, and wide-open meadows teeming with wildlife.
Spot moose, beavers, birds, and wildflowers as you cruise along remote trails. In late summer, enjoy berry picking and take in vibrant fireweed blooms. With plenty of photo stops and local storytelling from your guide, it’s the perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and exploration—no hiking required.
Note: This tour does not include sled dogs.

What to Bring - Comfortable, Weather-Appropriate Clothing Dress in layers—Evenings can be chilly, even in summer. - Long Sleeves & Pants Helps protect against mosquitoes and brush. - Closed-Toe Shoes Sturdy footwear is recommended for walking and stepping out at stops. - Bug Protection We provide bug spray, but consider bringing your own or a bug net if you're prone to bites. - Rain Jacket or Poncho Our UTVs have roofs and wind shields, but rain showers are common in the summer. - Reusable Water Bottle Stay hydrated on the trail. - Camera or Smartphone For capturing wildlife sightings and scenic views. - Sunglasses & Sunscreen Especially for bright mid-summer days.

Cancellation
A full refund will be issued if the cancellation is received before 7 days of the tour. A 20% cancellation fee will be charged to cancellations inside 7 days. No refunds will be issued if the cancellation is less than 24 hours prior to the tour. Day of booking cancellations will not be refunded. No shows will be charged in full.
nCovid Cancellations: A positive covid test result with the date is required to issue a full refund. If no contact is made prior to the tour start time, no refunds will be issued.
nEmergency Cancellations: If guests have an emergent case, please notify us immediately to explain the situation. Proof may be requested to receive a full refund.
nOverdue Arrivals: Guests arriving 15-29 minutes late are subject to an altered tour to ensure guides remain on the schedule (this could result in a shorter trail time or less interaction with the dogs). Guests arriving in excess of 30 minutes late for a day tour will forfeit their tour and be charged in full. Guests arriving late for an aurora tour will still adhere to the time allotment of the original tour schedule and will not exceed the tour conclusion of midnight.
