About

Grades 6, 7 and 8th - Prior experience is not necessary. Day one and two will consist of riding basics and horse skills. We will start our day with calling horses up form the pasture, haltering them and barn chores. Saddling and working in pairs for skill sessions. Each rider will get out for a trail ride each day. On Thursday your teen will come prepared to stay overnight at the ranch. We will provide a list of what they should and should not bring. This opportunity to cook meals and campfire together will strengthen the memories and friendships they are making. Friday we will be picked up in the Alaska Zipline Hummers and taken to our final adventure. Six tandem tower zips with Alaska Zipline Adventure Park. Throughout the week they will have opportunities to earn coins for spending in the gift shop. You are welcome to send them with cash for snacks and other trinkets. Youth will build confidence overcoming obstacles and learning new skills throughout their week. They will have plenty of guided outdoor games as well as time to hang out and enjoy the peace of the woods the horses and the ranch.
