This is an interactive tour, we prefer to have people stand on the runners and drive the dogs, with us on a tag sled as your guide throughout the experience. Though sitting in the Sled can be accommodated as needed, especially for children and seniors. The shorter version of this tour is better suited to children and anyone needing to sit.
This is a 4-5 mile mushing tour that meanders through a grove of birch and aspen on a high ridge above gold stream valley. In the beginning we will go over how to ride on and in our tandem dog sleds. Once we have this out of the way we can create some noise and meet the dogs! While you enjoy kisses and hugs from our loving huskies we will harness and hook up the team. Once hooked up we will head out into the grove. There are ample opportunities for photos along the way and plenty of cuddle time when we return to the kennel. You will have more time to drive the dog teams, more break time and more time for photography during this extended tour.
