2 styles of fishing in 1 trip! Spend half the day catching rockfish and the other half chasing after wild Alaskan salmon! Depending on the time of year, there are 5 different types of salmon that swim in these waters.

Come ride along on the Patriot with Capt. Drew and we will spend our day chasing after the two most desired fish in Alaska! Homer is one of the few places in the world that we can target king salmon year-round and Captain Drew loves trolling on the Patriot! We will split our fishing day targeting both salmon and halibut for a fun and memorable day on the water. For this trip, we divide our time to pretty close to 50/50 for each targeted species getting several hours of attention. Whether we start with rockfish or salmon will depend on weather and current fishing conditions, as will the area that we travel to. Where the salmon are biting are where we go fish! This trip is usually best booked May thru mid-June, or after the 4th of July. Early season can be fair to excellent for king salmon, and mid-to-late July thru the end of August we see a spectrum of all of the other salmon species move into our waters.
Cancellation
Homer trip planning is both exciting and a lot of work. There are many details to coordinate and sometimes, plans change. Your business is very important to us, and we will work with you if you have a schedule change. Please let us know ASAP if you have a change after making a reservation.
nAll Fishing Trips and Private Reservations
nFishing trips are planned well in advance and a seat held for you can be difficult to sell at the last moment. If cancelled 30 days or more in advance, a full refund will be given. Within the 30 days, a refund will be given if we are able to resell the seats or resell the trip, whichever is appropriate. You may also be rebooked once at no additional charge if there is space available. Full refunds will be issued if the trip is cancelled by us for mechanical or weather-related problems.
