Winter King Salmon Fishing gives you the chance to get out on the water in pursuit of delicious oily King Salmon. We fish all Winter long when the weather permits. We combine this fishery with an opportunity to harvest Tanner crab.

Tanner Crab is a free permit that can be accessed by anyone with a fishing license. It opens Oct 1 – Feb 28th. Regulations change yearly but last year it was 3 crabs per person and the annual limit was 20. We pull crab pot, cook crab on the boat, and troll for winter kings while eating some fresh tanner crabs.

What to bring

Make sure you bring your snacks for the day, whatever you would like to drink (responsible drinking is acceptable), and rain gear if it’s raining. We have no scheduled return time. I try to get back to the dock by 5 pm, sometimes this is earlier and sometimes it’s later. Details and changes can be discussed on the trip.
