Grand Adventure with Glacier Landing

The Grand Adventure is Sheldon Air Service’s most extensive flight route into Denali National Park, offering dramatic views of Denali, Mount Hunter, Mount Foraker, the Kahiltna Glacier and the Ruth Gorge. Departing from Talkeetna, the flight climbs from river valleys and tundra into the Alaska Range, revealing glaciers, steep granite ridgelines and remote alpine terrain.If conditions allow you may see the Wickersham Wall and the north side of the range; during climbing season expedition camps and Denali Base Camp are often visible. Optional glacier landings provide a chance to step onto the ice and experience the mountain stillness up close.
