Now is your chance to try Alaska's hottest sport: Fat biking. With huge, 5-inch-wide tires you'll be able to smoothly roll over soft sand and pebbles of a tidal zone near Seward. With a panoramic backdrop of Seward and the surrounding mountains, you and your guide will cross salmon spawning streams, see bald eagles and marine mammals, and even the occasional brown bear and moose.
See how the massive earthquake and subsequent tsunami of '64 changed Sewards coastline forever. We'll visit the local fishing hole and see what they are pulling in.
Now, the tide waits for no man and with some of the world's largest changes we'll head back to town as it starts creeping into shore.
