You'll see why Seward is called the Mural Capital of Alaska and hear about how a historic local orphanage led to the nation's most beloved state flag at the Benson Memorial. Seward is best known for the infamous Mount Marathon, often called "The World's Hardest 5k."
The Ride
We'll stop by the base of the mountain to view, from a safe distance, the start of the infamous runner's trail. Your guide can relay his first hand account of this 100 year old Alaska tradition. Of course you'll also get a layout and location of the town's necessities like the best bars/dispensaries/restaurants, the Alaska Sea Life Center, and grocery store. The ride conveniently starts and ends at the bike shop at 502 Adams St. in Downtown Seward.
