Join us for an unforgettable adventure through a snow-covered birch forest on the very same trails we train on for competitive racing. You’ll feel the raw power and passion of Alaska Huskies as they pull you across a breathtaking winter landscape, just as generations before us have done. This is a true bucket list, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: you’ll drive your own team, guided and supported by experienced mushers.
What's included
- YOU are mushing your own team of dogs. A 25–30 minute mushing run
- Hands-on learning with your own dog team
- Time in our cozy, wood-stove-heated cabin for instruction and changing gear
- Covered outdoor seating with heating units to stay warm and dry
- An introduction to the history of mushing, life in our off-grid homestead, and the daily routines of a competitive distance racing kennel
- Gear demonstrations and safety tips for humans and dogs in extreme arctic temperatures (down to -60°F)
- A chance to learn mushing commands
- Meet and bond with our incredible dogs—the Rock Stars
- Photo and video opportunities (and sometimes drone footage!) • Puppy visits when available and age-appropriate
