Heading north out of Anchorage, we travel up the Glenn Highway to an Alaskan hidden gem, Hatcher Pass. This is where we hop in an all terrain sideXside to explore one of Alaska's old gold mining areas and have a picnic in Alaska's backcountry. Before we make our way back to Anchorage we stop on the banks of the Knik River to overlook this massive glacially fed river.
