Heading north out of Anchorage, we travel up the Glenn Highway to an Alaskan hidden gem, Hatcher Pass. See one of Alaska's old gold mining areas and stopping for a mountain meal at the base of the mountain range. Before we make our way back to Anchorage we stop on the banks of the Knik River to overlook this massive glacially fed river.
