About the trail and what to expect:
The Matanuska Lake State Recreation Area is part of the Greenbelt Trail System. Trails are generally moderate hills and open fields. The trail system has a variety of different access points including Crevasse Moraine, Mat-Su College, and Long Lake. Bikers can expect scenic views of the Talkeetna and Chugach mountains during the ride.
We'll enjoy hot drinks at the trailhead following the event.

- We ask folks leave their 4-legged friends behind for this trip.
- Our maximum group size is 6 attendees.

- Handlebar pogies and studded tires are strongly recommended
- Comfortable & warm tennis/trail shoes or hiking boots

For day trips, cancellations made: More than one week before trip departure, receive a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Less than one week before trip departure, receive no refund.
