About

🥾 Mileage: Approximately 6 miles (about 3 miles up and 3 miles down). Snow may impact our ability to climb to the picnic table. 🥾 Elevation Gain: About 1,500 feet 🥾 Estimated Hiking Time: About 4-5 hours 🥾 Moderate to challenging for most hikers

The Lazy Moose Trail is a gentler, forested alternative to the steep trail. Both trails join at the first picnic table, so the second half of the climb is the same regardless of which route you take. This winding route still gets you to the top, but with more switchbacks and a moderate incline.

During the winter months, this trail is generally foot-packed terrain. Depending on wind and snowfall, parts of the trail can become impassable. Our exact turnaround point will be determined the day of the hike.
