About the hike and what to expect: We will hike at a moderate pace and stick together as a group. Hikers can plan to stop for water and snack breaks, a lunch break, and photo and educational opportunities. We generally hike this a loop trail, ascending Baldy via the valley just to the north of the summit. On a clear day hikers will enjoy scenic views of Anchorage from the summit. We'll descend the 'switchback' side of the trail on the face of Mt. Baldy.
Maximum group size of 10 hikers. Must be 18 years or older to participate unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We ask folks to leave their 4-legged friends behind for this trip. Thanks for understanding.
