Are you curious about the Kin-Win trails? But not sure how to get started? Join us for a moderate outing on this local trail system. We'll enjoy hot drinks or lemonade at the trailhead following the event.
We will bike at a leisurely pace and stick together as a group. Bikers can plan to stop for water and snack breaks as well as photo and educational opportunities throughout the adventure. Weโll follow wide dirt trails beside farm fields and narrow singletrack around lakes before riding back to the trailhead. A mountain, gravel, or fat-tire bike with good traction is required.
About the trail:
The Kin Win trails are generally rolling hills through fields and forested areas. The trail system connects with Long Lake, Matanuska Lakes State Rec Area, and Crevasse Moraine.
Important notes:
- We ask folks leave their 4-legged friends behind for this trip.
- Our maximum group size is 8 attendees.
