Trip Description:
- This route follows The Muktuk Marston trail from Arctic Valley to Hunter Pass above Hiland Valley, and down to the South Fork of Eagle River trailhead.
- Terrain is all above tree line with some gradual elevation gain and loss, then gradual switchbacks to descend near the end.
We’ll stay together as a group and hike at a leisurely pace. We will stop to identify plants, photograph the views, and take water/snack breaks as needed.

What to bring
- Comfortable walking/hiking shoes
- Comfortable attire (avoid cotton or denim, if possible)
- Insect repellent
- Small backpack
- Additional layers (hat, gloves, jacket)
- Rain gear - If you have it, carrying both rain pants and a rain jacket is recommended
- Water (1-2 liters recommended)
- Snacks and/or lunch as desired

For day trips and community classes, cancellations made: More than one week before trip departure, receive a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Less than one week before trip departure, receive no refund.
