Food Dehydration Class on May 15: with Samples!
🍓 Learn tips and tricks for dehydrating food for your outdoor adventures 🫐
About
About the Class:
Dehydrating your own food is an easy, fun, budget-friendly hobby. This intro class will cover everything from why you should try it, to tips for successful outcomes, to how to use what you’ve dehydrated on the trail or when traveling. Palmer local Susan Sommer presents some of the many foods she’s dehydrated: chicken, beef, tofu, broccoli, carrots, kiwi fruit, bananas, foraged spring greens, and many more. Learn about the pros and cons of each type of dehydrator. Hear stories of her successes as well as failed attempts and what she’d do differently. She’ll also share resources for further learning, demos, and samples to try in the classroom and at home.
Total workshop time is approximately 2 hours. This course is best suited for adult learners and teenagers.
About Susan:
