Community Hike: 50ish and older Moose Range from Buffalo Mine Road on Oct. 21

🥾 Explore the Moose Range trails at the base of the Talkeetna Mountains 🏔

About

Where:

We'll be walking on the unpaved road at the end of Buffalo Mine Road. The road connects with multiple access points to the Moose Range trails.

About the walk and what to expect:

Are you curious about the Moose Range trails? But not sure how to get started? Join us for a mellow outing on this local trail system. We'll enjoy hot drinks at the trailhead following the event.

The Moose Range trails are generally snow-machine packed trails through low-lying swamp at the base of the Talkeetna Mountains. There is limited signage in this area.

We’ll hike about 4 miles total. During this afternoon adventure, we'll move at a leisurely pace, chatting along the way. Hikers can expect to adventure for about 3 hours for this particular outing - sometimes these events are a bit less, sometimes a bit more. Our objective is rarely a specific destination - but more about enjoying time in the outdoors.

Can I bring my pup?

No. For this particular event we ask folks to leave pups behind. Thanks for understanding!
