Private Hike and Brew: A half day hike with a brew stop!
🥾 Adventure like a local 🍻 A true taste of Palmer 🥾
About
A true taste of Palmer, we'll meet in the downtown area and head to hike in scenic Hatcher Pass. Groups will have the option of a mellow or moderate hike in the Hatcher Pass area.
Your local guide will discuss how glaciers carved the valleys in the area and what prospectors found while panning in the early 20th century.
Following our hike, we'll stop at a local brewery (non-alcoholic options available). Learn about the brewers, discover what's crafted using locally harvested ingredients, and sip on a beverage.
Guests under 21 will be able to enjoy this trip and visit a local brewery, but will not be able to purchase alcoholic beverages. Non-alcoholic beverage options are available for those under 21 years of age.
Highlights
Our hike and brew tour offers a glimpse into life in the Palmer area. We have incredible access to both the Talkeetna and Chugach Mountains. Hatcher Pass, a local recreation area, boasts almost 300,000 acres of wilderness and a variety of trails.
Visitors will learn about the history of Hatcher Pass mining and enjoy scenic views of the mountains and glacial valleys.
