Kachemak Bay Tour
3 hour guided nature tour of Kachemak Bay
About
What you can expect on your Kachemak Bay Tour
Departing from the Homer Harbor, join us for an unforgettable 3-hour journey through the stunning landscapes of Kachemak Bay. Our experienced captain and crew will guide and narrate your adventure, sharing insights into the bay’s rich ecology and history.
As we cruise the waters, keep your binoculars at the ready to spot an incredible array of wildlife. Seabirds like puffins, bald eagles, murres, cormorants, gulls, kittiwakes and more can be seen soaring above the waves, diving for fish, or gathering in rocky alcoves on Gull Island, one of Alaska's largest bird rookeries, just 3 miles from the Homer Harbor. Playful sea otters and curious harbor seals often make their appearance, and with a bit of luck, you may catch sight of orcas and/or humpback whales.
Whether you're a seasoned birder, a wildlife enthusiast, or simply looking for a family friendly adventure, this tour offers something for everyone. With the majestic mountain landscapes of Kachemak Bay serving as a backdrop, we hope you'll enjoy an unforgettable and truly Alaskan experience.
