Your child may enjoy a variety of activities with us here including learning about and exploring intertidal ecosystems. Searching for unique shells, driftwood, seaweed, and rocks while discussing how the ocean shapes these objects and the importance of leaving some behind for wildlife habitats. They can also engage in bird watching, their migration, habits, and conservation. Other activities could include environmental stewardship. Observing tides and weather patterns, learning about cloud formation. Creating nature art, participating in stories and games that encourage movement, observation, and a deeper connection to the outdoors.
