Is a serene natural haven. The park features a 0.8 mile loop trail that Meanders around two small, glacier fed Lakes, rightly named First and Second lake. This well maintained trail is mostly flat and easy, so little adventurers can explore without trouble. As you journey the loop, you’ll be surrounded by a lush forest of Spruce and hemlock trees, with the tranquil sounds of cascading waterfalls enchanting the peaceful feel. Wildlife sightings are common, including various bird species and occasional moose. Some activities may include nature walks, where children observe their surroundings and make discoveries. Detecting which creatures are around and the story they are leaving with their tracks and signs they leave behind. They may explore geological features like rock formations and waterways. Engage in environmental stewardship by helping care for the park. Read books about nature topics they are interested in. Additionally, they can create nature-inspires art using found materials and play games that encourage movement, observation, and connection to the outdoors.
