Check-in

Please check in at 6:30 a.m.at our Destination Alaska Adventure Company Spit Office located at 4287 Spit Road building #5. Your Captain will check you in and then walk with you down to the boat.

Bring your fishing license. They will need to record some information from your license for Fish and Game. Licenses are available for purchase online at http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=license.main We always recommend that every person purchases a King Salmon Stamp or in person at Ulmer's, Sportsman's, etc.

Please note: This is a 3/4 day Halibut only trip focused on everyone catching their daily limit. We do not go for "the big one" on these trips.

We reserve the right to change the boat assignments based on numbers and resources.

What do I need to bring? - Fishing license - Lunch, snacks, beverages for 6 hours - Rain gear and clothing layers

  • All bait and tackle
  • Removing fillets from your fish Processing and/or shipping is done through Homer Fish Processing and is a separate charge paid directly to them. Your Captain will arrange this day of.

Not Included

  • Tips for the Captain and Crew are not included in our package, but are greatly appreciated by our team. 15% to 20% is standard.

Cancellation

For Reserved Fares: Cancellation of trips any time before 90 days prior to your trip you will receive a full refund less a 10% administrative fee. After that time, payment/deposits are non-refundable. In the event we cancel a trip due to weather, safety issues, or events beyond our control, you have the option of a full refund or to reschedule on a space available basis. Due to the expense of these trips, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
