Explore Talkeetna's best trail with a great naturalist guide. A new scene of beauty unfolds around every turn on this three-mile moderate hike. Transportation from your Talkeetna-area lodging is included.
Look for loons and kingfishers on the lakes, or moose and bears in the woods. This lush old-growth forest is alive with songbirds, wildflowers, berries, and mushrooms. Your local guide will tell you stories about wildlife encounters, life in Talkeetna, and how native people survived in this wild land.
The fresh air, exercise, and healthy homemade snack will renew and invigorate you. This is a great trip in any weather.

Guests with younger children will need to have a way to carry them if they cannot walk and keep up with the group for 3 miles.
Hike is 3 miles on an established trail with a total elevation gain of 200 feet (like walking 13 holes of golf).
Cancellation
We will be happy to refund your payment if you cancel at least 7 days prior to the tour date. No refunds are given for guest cancellations within a week of the departure date.
