This Bridal Veil Waterfall and Tonsina Beach Tour departs from the beautiful Miller’s Landing area at Lowell Point. On this half-day guided kayak tour, you’ll explore one of Resurrection Bay’s classic coastal routes. Based on weather, tides, and group dynamics. Your guide will choose between landing at the dramatic Bridal Veil waterfall or the stunning Tonsina Point. Both routes offer calm paddling, scenic views, and opportunities to spot wildlife along the way.
Keep a lookout! It's not unusual for paddlers to see marine life on this trip and sometimes mountain goats and black bears as we kayak throughout this beautiful region of Alaska.

What's included
A guided paddle from Lowell Point to a remote beach, followed by a short walk to a waterfall
Our sit-inside tandem kayaks are stable and well maintained. They come with a rudder for steering, spray skirts, life vests and paddles. Your guide is also fitted with necessary safety and first aid equipment.
Let your guide know before the trip if you need: - Extra rain gear - Pogies to protect your hands (paddling mittens) - Neoprene Booties - A dry bag - A butt pad
Before each trip we provide a short orientation on sea kayaking and safety, so everyone is comfortable before we hit the water!
What to bring
Be sure to pack comfortable shoes for hiking and kayaking, and comfortable layers for being outdoors.

- Comfortable shoes for hiking, we pull and launch your kayaks from shore so you should not be stepping into any water.
- Depending on the weather consider bringing gloves, beanie, sun hat, extra socks, sunglasses, sunscreen.
