Skagway Yukon Dog Musher Camp Adventure – White Pass Scenic Tour
Passport Required!
About
If you want to see all the best sites via road in Skagwat, then you’ve come to the right tour.
My name’s Alex, a local Skagway guide who’s spent years exploring these mountains, streets, and stories. Instead of climbing aboard a crowded tour bus, you’ll travel in a small group led by someone who actually lives here and knows the town inside and out.
On the Best of Skagway Tour, I’ll take you to the places that truly tell the story of this wild little Gold Rush town, scenic overlooks above the harbor, waterfalls tucked into the mountains, the historic road toward White Pass, and the legendary Gold Rush Cemetery and Reid Falls.
Along the way, you’ll hear about fortune seekers, frontier characters, and the larger-than-life personalities who turned Skagway into one of the most famous boomtowns of the Klondike era.
Skagway may be small, but the scenery is majestic, the history is….colorful, and the stories are worth telling properly.
Which is exactly what I’ll do.
Highlights
The drive from Skagway to the Yukon over White Pass is one of the most famous journeys of the Klondike Gold Rush. Today, it remains one of the most spectacular scenic drives in Alaska.
This tour combines the dramatic mountain scenery of the White Pass Summit with the opportunity to experience modern sled dog culture in the Yukon — all within a comfortable half-day excursion from Skagway.
