Have you ever been snowshoeing before? How about an ice luminary snowshoe walk along snowy trails in an Alaskan forest? Come join us for a one of a kind experience in Alaska! We will start at our cozy cabin bundling up for the walk, before heading outside and following the twinkle of lights into the boreal forest. Guided by the soft glow of candles illuminating our homemade ice luminaries, we will explore the treasures of the forest. Delight in the sparkling snow and see just how well the snow reflects any little bit of light from the moon and our luminaries, allowing you to move along the trail with no artificial lights. Keep an eye on the sky as you never know when the aurora might appear and really light up the night!

After your wander through the magical boreal forest, return to the cabin where we will share a hearty Alaskan meal featuring locally grown and harvested foods, as well as locally foraged herbal teas. Cozy up to the wood stove and catch a glimpse into Alaskan simple living. We will share stories about the things we make with locally foraged products, our experiences hunting, and adventures in Alaska. Perfect for a romantic date night or unique family experience. (Depending on the time of year, we may do dinner first to have a darker night sky.)
