About

This is the perfect for tour for those who like to explore on their own! This is your chance to see areas that most tourists to Skagway never get to see! Dyea, Alaska was a booming town during the Gold Rush. Because of it’s accessibility to the Chilkoot Trail, this area became an important staging area for prospectors heading to find gold in the Yukon! Once the train was built, the trail was not needed as a vital way of transport. Now, this expansive area is filled with pristine nature and vistas. This 20+ mile bike ride is a breeze on our fat tire, electric bikes! Follow along the hillside of Dyea Road for a ride that is breathtaking and sure to be a highlight of your entire Alaskan trip.

Here are some of the highlights of this trip: Gold Rush Cemetery Hike to Lower Reid Falls Skagway River Pioneer Cemetery Skagway Scenic Outlook Take a walk along the beach of Nakhu Bay Have lunch and/or a beverage at the Chilkoot Trail Outpost See the start of the Historic Chilkoot Trail Slide Cemetery Dyea Historic Townsite Amazing photo opportunities Spot some wildlife: this area is home to Eagles, Seals, Porcupine, Fox, Bears, Salmon and more!

The best part about the trip is that you can stop and start at your own pace. No one is there to slow you down! The minimum amount of time required is 3 hours, but you have all day, so you can really enjoy the adventure!
