Each kayak is for two people • Children between the ages of 5 and 12 MUST ride with an adult • Ages 13+ may ride solo

The Tutka Bay Express leaves Homer with our captain at the scheduled departure time. While under power to our dock, guests are briefed on safety, kayak instruction. Whale spotting and other creatures are often spotted in the Katchemak bay ecosystem on our 25-minute ride to our dock in Tutka Bay.

Once we arrive at our dock, clients will unload and don appropriate gear for sea kayaking. Our vessel will then depart for our approx. 3-hour kayak adventure. Kayakers have the opportunity to kayak to hike, dig for clams and view fish depending on the time of year and weather. The kayakers and vessel will return to our dock promptly at the scheduled return
