Travel overland and experience the rugged landscapes and animals that stood in the way of these frenzied prospectors. The Fraser River Valley and Cassiar Highway will give a glimpse back in time with visits to the K’san First Nation Village. The Cassiar Highway also excites the animal lover with plenty of opportunities to see moose, beavers, fox, and black bear! We’ll soak our weary bones in the Takhini Hot Springs. Not to forget the famous Icefields Parkway and Lake Louise! This is a special trip only running in May 2023. Please note that this is a road trip covering a lot of milage and some of the day are longer drive days!

Please understand that this trip is a camping trip and you have to be physically fit to get in and out of a tent, walk on unstable ground around the campsite and walk to the toilet at night. We suggest that you can walk a couple of miles at least to fully enjoy the trip. We offer different kinds of hikes and try to adjust length and difficulty of trails, but a general fitness is advisable.
